Joyce L. Soucy, CPA
Joyce has been a member of
the Tax Division of Federman, Lally & Remis, since she joined
the firm in January of 2007. Prior to working at the firm, she
was a Vice President in the Institutional Investments Department
at Fleet Bank.
Professional Experience
Joyce handles tax matters for closely held companies, partnerships, trusts and estates and individuals. While previously with Fleet Bank and Bank of New England, she worked in several positions
utilizing her significant systems expertise. Joyce began her career
at Arthur Andersen & Co. on the tax staff and became a Manager
in the Consulting Division specializing in financial reporting
systems.
Education and Certifications
Joyce received her BA from Hood College
in 1979 and MBA from the University of Notre Dame in 1981. She
received her CPA designation in 1983.
Community Service
Joyce has considerable community service serving as Treasurer
or board member on many local organizations throughout the years.
She is currently a Girl Scout leader (13 years) and Town of Farmington
Manager for Girl Scouts of Connecticut (10 years).
